When you choose to franchise with the powerful Hertz Car Rental franchise system, you will be provided with everything you need to launch and operate a successful business. You will have the opportunity to attend a 3 to 6 week new car rental franchisee on-boarding training program that will include a training session at Hertz worldwide headquarters in Park Ridge, NJ, a training session at a Hertz zone office, webinar training, and online training. After this initial training, you will have access to additional training and support resources as you run your business.
The license fee from franchisees is used to sustain the substantial benefits and customer base of the Hertz brand. This includes innovation, promotion and support of the Hertz brand as well as the support provided to franchisees.
You will also have access to major supplier programs for purchase of rental fleet and facility supplies, as well as established programs that will assist your business in promotion, pricing decisions and seamless delivery of leading quality services and products. Also you will be able to participate in many reservation booking channels like the GDS (Global Distribution System) for travel agents, Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan, plus other online travel agencies, Hertz.com and ‘1-800’ telephone reservations.
Additionally, you will have franchisee point-of-sale computer integration with the Hertz Reservations System, Hertz 24 Hour Roadside Assistance, Access to Hertz non-fleet procurement discounts, Image & signage support, and Franchisee meetings & workshops.
Finally, Hertz Customer Contact Center is among the industry’s largest, most sophisticated call centers and will give you the edge over the competition.

Hertz is actively seeking experienced, entrepreneurial business people to join their system as franchise owners. Hertz Car Rental is looking for energetic businesspeople that enjoy working within the travel and/or automotive field. Ideal franchisee candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, solid sales & business skills, and be an active part of the communities in which they work and live. Although a plus, a background in car rental is not required.
