United Franchise Group wins a further award
The United Franchise Group (UFG) announced recently that it was honored with the 2011 Governor’s Business Diversification Award last month during a special reception held in Tallahassee at the Florida Governor’s Mansion.
According to the information provided, the award, which is coordinated by Enterprise Florida, recognizes outstanding contributions made towards improving and diversifying Florida’s economy plus distinctive community investment efforts, particularly relating to industries targeted for economic development and high wage job growth.
Ray Titus, CEO of United Franchise Group, said, “We are very enthusiastic and honored to receive this award on behalf of all our employees and franchisees at UFG. This award is a true testament of our hard work and commitment to our customers and Florida’s economy.”
UFG is made up of five industry-leading franchise brands including SIGNARAMA, EmbroidMe, Billboard Connection, Plan Ahead Events and TransWorld Business Advisors. In 2010, UFG developed nearly 200 new franchises and projects its growth trend to continue in 2011 with a goal of adding up to 300 new franchise locations around the world. (kbp)
