Snap-on Tools achieves excellent results in a US study
Snap-on Incorporated, a leading US global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, diagnostics, equipment, software and service solutions for professional users, can be proud of the results of the latest study carried out by Frost & Sullivan. The study, entitled “2008 United States (U.S.) Automotive Technicians’ Choice: Evaluation of Automotive Tools” is divided up into five categories: hand and power tools, tool storage devices, scan tools and floor jacks. Snap-on Tools was named the best in all five categories. In 2007, Snap-on was also top of this list in four of the categories – the floor jack category was added to the study for the first time in 2008.
Each year, Frost & Sullivan contacts mechanics across the USA requesting
them to give their opinion on tools from the above categories. Snap-on Tools has
enjoyed a great reputation right from the beginning and this has been underlined
by the study. Thomas J. Ward, president of Snap-on Tools Company, LLC,
commented, “Snap-on is honored to be the recipient of five Frost &
Sullivan’s Technician’s Choice Awards this year,” said Thomas J. Ward, president
of Snap-on Tools Company, LLC. “Receiving the recognition is truly gratifying to
everyone at Snap-on because our customers select the award winners. Our goal is
to work hard to understand our customers’ critical needs so we can produce
unique productivity solutions for them. Based on the results of the Frost &
Sullivan research, we are very proud that service technicians feel we have the
best products and solutions in the industry.”
The management at Frost & Sullivan were also impressed by the company saying that the award clearly demonstrated ‘Snap-on’s commitment to meeting the demands of its customers as well as Snap-on’s commitment to being a leader in innovative productivity solutions for U.S. automotive technicians’.
