Snap Fitness sells its 1,000th fitness centre

In a recent press release, Minnesota-based Snap Fitness, a franchisor of compact, 24/7 fitness centers, announced that it had sold its 1,000th location calling it “a major milestone in its company's explosive expansion”. And it is not planning to stop at this figure: it is looking to have a network of over 1,200 centres and to have expanded into Canada by the end of the year. According to the Club Business International magazine, Snap Fitness is the fastest-growing franchise network within its branch.

“Reaching this milestone is proof of the effectiveness of our business model," commented Peter Taunton, CEO and founder of Snap Fitness. “Our emphasis on best-in-class systems, processes and support enables franchisees to achieve success and live their dreams. Our track record of zero stores closed, combined with our triple-digit revenue growth, shows we're doing this better than anyone else.”

11th on the list of the Entrepreneur Magazine's "Top New Franchises", Snap Fitness is experiencing very rapid growth. Founded in 2003 by CEO Peter Taunton, the franchisor offers compact, state-of-the-art, 24-hour fitness clubs in residential areas across the States.
