Smallprint continues its international expansion
According to a report published on the website, i-newswire.com, the Smallprint franchise has announced the opening of its new U.S. office to expand its international franchise operation and launch the first Smallprint franchisee in California.
“Smallprint jewellery is unlike any other, because the silver jewellery pieces display imprints of a child’s fingers, hands and feet. Each fingerprint piece is personally touched by the child creating a particularly special quality that is unmatched in the commercial jewellery industry,” said Maija Pykett, co-founder of the franchise. “Many new mums or entrepreneurs searching for a sustainable business opportunity, perhaps something very different from what they did before, will find that a Smallprint franchise is an ideal business for them.”
Founded by Oliver and Maija Pykett in 2004, Smallprint was launched as a franchise in the UK in September 2006. Smallprint franchisees create precious keepsakes which capture children's fingerprints, hand prints, artwork and handwriting on fine silver jewellery. The network currently has 65 franchises in the U.K. and 35 in Australia with initial franchises in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Bangkok, Dubai, Germany, Hong Kong, Kuwait, New Zealand, Singapore, and the U.S. (kbp)
