Restaurant Fair in Vienna with emphasis on franchising

The next edition of the Viennese "Alles für den Gast" exhibition is opening its doors to the public from 2nd to 5th April 2006. Special emphasis is being put on franchising this year with the motto, “Franchise – a new way to starting up your own business”, which is being linked to the "Coffee Experience" section.

This area shall be presenting the franchise concepts run by the Austrian coffee suppliers, Julius Meinl, as well as the Schärf Coffeeshop Company. Julius Meinl’s franchise concept is especially geared towards international markets and supports independent restaurant businesses to implement his Austrian coffee culture. The “Schärf Coffeeshop Company” sees itself as being Austria’s answer to Starbucks and is looking to expand quickly both at home in Austria as well as abroad. By providing training courses, equipment and financing help, the Schärf system supports potential franchisees to set up their own company – especially in Germany, the neighbouring countries east of Austria as well as on American cruise ships.

"Alles für den Gast" is an international exhibition aimed at the restaurant and hotel businesses. According to the organizers, "Reed Exhibitions", the fair was a great success last year with the number of visitors increasing by 14 % compared to the year before.
