Kirsten Cortez de Lobao takes second place

The German magazine, Impulse, has once again put together its list of the most successful entrepreneurs of 2007. Kirsten Cortez de Lobao, who runs a Mrs.Sporty women’s sports club in Saarlouis, has been awarded second place on the list of the most successful start-ups.

One of the main reasons for Kirsten Cortez de Lobao being given the prize was the great development of her Mrs.Sporty Club. Furthermore, the jury was also impressed by her commitment, her specialist knowledge and the friendly manner in which she treats her customers. She opened her club in Saarlouis at the beginning of January 2006. Clever marketing, great commitment and the support from head office all meant that the business start-up has become a great success. Today, more than 640 women train at her club. This award does not, however, mean that she’ll now be resting on her laurels: “I am really pleased to have been awarded this prize,” commented Kirsten Cortez de Lobao. “This prize will spur me on to find even more women to take part in our fitness and diet programmes and to ensure my customers are even more satisfied than before.”

Mrs.Sporty is a sports club for women of all ages and aims to create an individual and personal atmosphere in its clubs. The training and diet concept was developed by former tennis star Stefanie Graf together with leading fitness and nutritional experts and especially addresses the needs of women. The training concept is based on innovative circuit training lasting 30 minutes which enables the clients to improve their strength, stamina and agility.
