Just Between Friends Franchise Systems Inc. sells its 95th franchise
According to a report published on the website, www.prweb.com, Just Between Friends, a leading maternity and children's consignment sales event franchise, has sold its 95th franchise.
In the report, Shannon Wilburn, President and co-founder of Just Between Friends, comments: “Last August, we had 61 franchises across the country. In less than one year we have nearly doubled in size and we attribute much of that growth to the recession as more families across the country search for ways to save money and earn money and are turning to Just Between Friends to help. Many of our new franchise owners are women who have left the corporate world and see JBF as a great business opportunity. Others are families who are opening a franchise as an investment in their future.”
Just Between Friends franchisees hold 2 or 3 big sales events a year with local families signing up as consignors and selling their children's and maternity items. Consignors fix the prices for their own items and earn up to 75 percent of the sales while the franchisees provide the venue and promote the sale.
Just Between Friends was founded in 1997 by Shannon Wilburn and Daven Tackett. They then established the Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc. in 2003 and since then the network has grown rapidly to the current 95 franchises in 20 states. (kbp)
