J.D. Byrider franchise continues to grow
J.D. Byrider, one of the nation’s largest franchised used car sales and finance businesses has continued to expand its network this year opening a total of eight new stores by August 2011, six of which are owned by franchisees. Moreover, the company is expecting this number to have increased by the end of the year.
“We’re excited about our growth in 2011, which was fueled in part by the investment made in the company by Altamont Capital Partners,” said J.D. Byrider CEO Steve Wedding of the company’s acquisition by the private investment firm, which was completed in May 2011. “We plan to continue that growth through the opening of five additional locations later this year and even more next year.”
J.D. Byrider has been on the market for over 20 years and was, the company
says, founded to serve customers with special auto financing needs and to ensure
that they receive the same quality service in every J.D. Byrider dealership.
J.D. Byrider currently has a network of 132 franchised and company-owned
dealerships in 30 states. (kbp)
