InterContinental Hotel Group launches Staybridge Suites brand in Kuwait

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced that it has signed an agreement with Bukhamseen Group Holding Company to introduce its upscale extended-stay brand to Kuwait. Two Staybridge Suites properties are to be developed initially in Kuwait city: in the Salmiya district and in the Farwaniya airport area.

According to the information provided, Staybridge Suites were established in 1997 to bridge the gap between conventional hotels and serviced apartments. They should, therefore, appeal to a wide range of travel needs – from those in town on business to those relocating to the area or even seeking temporary accommodation.

The UK-based InterContinental Hotels Group Plc is one of the world’s largest hotel groups by number of rooms. It owns, manages, leases or franchises almost 4,000 hotels and offers more than 590,000 guest rooms in almost 100 countries and territories around the world. (KBP)
