Ice House America signs its first franchise area developer
According to a report published on the website, moultrieobserver.com, Ice House America, a company specializing in automated ice vending technology, has signed an agreement with its first area developer, Joe Tooke, for the greater Tucson area. The company, which recently launched its brand new franchise program, is looking to expand its network via franchisees.
In an interview, Pete Cotter, CEO of Ice House America, commented, “Ice House America is excited to welcome Joe as the company’s first franchise area developer. We are looking for more entrepreneurs like Joe who are seeking a low cost and fully automated business venture with minimal overhead and maintenance required to operate.”
Founded in 2003, the Ice House America brand has become one of the top producers of packaged ice in the United States. According to information provided by the company, there are over 2,300 Ice House vending units in the US alone. It also exports its products to the Caribbean Basin, Australia, Brazil and Nigeria.
