Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchise continues to expand
Australian owned Gloria Jean’s Coffees is continuing to expand its network: having opened up its 400th store back in August last year, just six months later in February this year, it celebrated the opening of its 450th Australian store in the state of NSW.
Ian Martin, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gloria Jean’s Coffees, commented on this rapid expansion saying, “This is a significant achievement for Gloria Jean’s Coffees and is a reflection of our pioneering role to bring one of Australia’s largest coffee franchises to all parts of Australia.”
According to information provided by the company, Gloria Jean’s Coffees serves more than 3.5 million coffees per month, and over 40 million guests visit Gloria Jean’s Coffees each year. Besides the expansion of the network on its home market, the company is also enjoying success abroad.
Mr Martin continued, “Gloria Jean’s Coffees is continuing to expand not only in Australia but also overseas, with recent growth in India, Germany, Ukraine, Pakistan and Cyprus. We are on a steady expansion route for the next three years.”
The company currently has over 800 stores in 29 countries worldwide as well as master franchise agreements signed in a further 21 countries. Gloria Jean’s Coffees is, it says, expecting these figures to grow exponentially within the next five years on both a local and international level.
