Genghis Grill franchise launches healthy elements within its concept
Genghis Grill has announced that, in keeping with its other healthy initiatives introduced this year, it has now launched a brand new nutritional brochure, complete with allergen and nutritional details of all food items in Khan's Kitchen (Genghis Grill's food bar).
Jax Sperling, Director of Culinary R&D of Genghis Grill, commented, “The FDA regulations are going to have a huge impact on how Americans choose what they eat. We want to be ahead of the curve, not only on our labeling but also on our healthy options for our fans.”
Additional healthy elements introduced by the 77-unit chain include calorie count stickers for the in-store signage and the heavy emphasis on the Heart Healthy program. A brand new nutritional calculator on the Genghis Grill official website was also launched this past summer to help consumers define their nutritional intake.
“We will continue to innovate and encourage 'hot and healthy' options without sacrificing flavor combinations that satisfy the demands at a price that is comparable to fast food chains,” said Ron Parikh, Chief Marketing Officer for Genghis Grill.
Genghis Grill is, it says, the largest Mongolian Grill in the US and is well-known for its fresh, hot and healthy food, and for its style of fun service. It offers a Heart Healthy dining option along with an array of recipes to choose from KHAN'S KITCHEN (food bar) where one can "build your own bowl" from 14 proteins, 12 seasonings, 30 veggies, 15 sauces, and 6 starches.
