FirstLight HomeCare franchise receives Business of the Year award
FirstLight HomeCare, a provider of non-medical, in-home care , has announced that its locations in Dayton and in the Waterford Independent Living facility in Centerville have been named Business of the Year at the 2011 Annual South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting and business awards breakfast held on Oct. 26.
According to the information provided, FirstLight HomeCare received the award above two other local businesses. The award was presented to the business that set the best standard for superior customer satisfaction, exhibited the most outstanding commitment to their employees and community and the company that consistently demonstrated the highest level of ethical behavior in business.
"We are extremely honored and humbled to be this year's recipient," said owner Liza M. Burns. "This award is dedicated not only to our clients, but also to our caregivers. We would also like to thank the South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce for this honor and for their support over the past year."
FirstLight HomeCare provides care services for seniors, new mothers and those recovering from illness, injury or surgery. According to the company, the demand for high-quality in-home care is at an all-time high with more than 12 percent of Americans over 65 and wanting to remain independent for as long as possible.
