Dunkin' Donuts concludes exclusive agreement with Spanish franchisee
The Dunkin' Donuts franchise is planning to set up 84 new outlets in Spain. These expansion plans are based on an exclusive agreement that the company has signed with the Balearic firm, Franquicias Eivissa, which covers the regions Catalonia, Murcia and Valencia.
Dunkin' Donuts generally grants franchise licences for large regions. In Germany, for example, S&C International Deutschland GmbH owns licences for Berlin/Brandenburg as well as for the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Dunkin' Donuts was founded in Boston, USA, back in 1950; today it is, it says, the largest coffee and bakery franchise in the world.
