Dubai is most certainly not short of means…
The world’s highest tower, artificial islands and, above all, the largest
malls in the world…
In Dubai, there is great business potential in its major and prominent infrastructures.
What is noticeable is the fact that projects have been well rounded off in
Dubai: urban projects, welcoming luxury hotels, residences, offices, shopping
centres, leisure centres and a strong use of themes.
The Emirate’s objective is plain: to become the world’s number one tourist and shopping spot based on a strong airport infrastructure, advantageous financial conditions and an arsenal of attractions.
The aim of the new Dubai Mall, therefore, which is currently being built, is simply to become the world’s largest shopping centre against the background of the world’s highest building and its vibrant downtown area. The whole of this huge market is dedicated to products such as gold, precious stones and jewellery as well as having a Fashion Island, 1,200 stores, and 15 restaurants. And, if you wish to take a break from shopping, you will be able to walk through an aquarium, visit the 22-screen multiplex cinema or cool down in the Olympic ice skating arena. Furthermore, you can stay at the 5-star hotel which has a car park designed to take 14,000 cars. This mall will be officially opened at the end of 2008 and it is expecting to welcome 30 million visitors from 2009 onwards. Its competitor is the Mall of the Emirates that is famous for its 4 km indoor ski slopes.
