Drain Doctor launches new SWAT teams
The Drain Doctor franchise has announced that its franchisees have been learning new skills to further improve customer service. The company is one of the UK’s largest emergency plumbing and drain repair services.
According to the company, its success has been built on providing a 24/7, 365 days per year service with fixed prices and no call-out or out-of-hours charges. Drain Doctor is now looking to improve its range of services even more by implementing a series of new ideas which originated in the USA.
Franchisees from across the UK and Republic of Ireland recently attended the company’s annual convention in Stratford-upon-Avon where they were introduced to new technical and business developments. One of these was SWAT – ‘service with attitude training’ – which was presented by Mike Stone and Beth Dobkin from Mr Rooter, Drain Doctor’s sister company in the USA. The SWAT techniques have helped American franchisees to build better and more profitable businesses.
Beth Dobkin explained, “Customers buy what they see – things such as the van, the technician, the mat, the shoe covers and the menu price book. All of these help to build the trust and respect of the customer.”
