Conergy supports move to stop global warming
Together with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Solar Electric Light Funds (SELF), Conergy is supporting a solar energy project to produce electricity in rural areas in Africa. This decision was taken during a three-day event in New York where Bill Clinton invited people to come and discuss political points of global importance.
The planned solar energy project shall produce environmentally friendly electricity to cover the needs of hospitals, schools, and water pumps in west African villages. By supporting this project, Conergy says, it shall be fighting to achieve two of the main aims of the Clinton Global Initiative: to stop global warming and to fight poverty.
