Conergy increases profits by 153 percent
According to the preliminary reports published by the Conergy Group, which is also a franchisor via its subsidiary SunTechnics, its turnover in 2005 shot up by 86 percent to € 530.2m. The company has announced that it had, therefore, more than met its original target of € 500m. Its profits increased by an even greater amount: by 153 percent. The company is now expecting its business in 2006 to expand once again at a rate considerably greater than the growth rate of the global market and is aiming to invest in the further internationalisation of its sales as well as in the extension of its product portfolio – especially in the area of renewable energy.
SunTechnics franchisees are generally regional
electrician businesses which takeover the installation work of the solar-energy
systems on-site in their regions. SunTechnics has become an internationally
active company with more than 130 partner businesses and is active in many
countries including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and Portugal, in the
USA, Australia as well as in several Asian states.
