Beginning of October: The National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham
The National Franchise Exhibition is being held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre on 5th and 6th October 2007. As always, the exhibition will be offering people interested in becoming a franchisee with the opportunity to learn more about the very great number of franchise networks available.
More than 250 franchise companies are expected to take part in the event to present their business concepts to those interested in a franchise. Besides these, visitors will also be able to talk to a wide range of branch experts including bankers, consultants and lawyers and the British Franchise Association, or the bfa, will also be running its own stand to provide information.
Free seminars are to be run by the bfa parallel to the event to give people an insight into the world of franchising. They will be covering subjects such as “An introduction to franchising” and “How to franchise your business”. To make life easier for the visitors, they will be able to visit the Franchise Match-Making Zone where, having given some information about themselves, they will be provided with a list of franchise networks which suit them best. Other special areas being set up for visitors include the Women in Franchising Zone and the Next Step Clinic which will be providing financial advice.
The doors to the National Franchise Exhibition will open at 10am each day and close at 5pm on Friday (5th October) and at 4pm on Saturday (6th October).
