Baskin-Robbins franchise network continues to grow

According to a report published on the website, qsrweb.com, Baskin-Robbins has signed an agreement in San Diego with its new franchisees Gary and Maria Yarbrough, who are planning to open two shops in the Eastlake and Chula Vista areas. The report reveals that the first shop is due to open by April 2012 in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista with a second following in 2013.

In an interview, Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of franchising and market planning of parent company Dunkin' Brands Inc., commented, “Baskin-Robbins has been providing quality ice cream products for more than 60 years, and we are excited to expand our footprint in San Diego with franchisee Gary Yarbrough. We're confident Gary will spread the fun and unique flavors of America's Favorite Ice Cream Shop to guests in and around the Chula Vista community.” (kbp)
