Arby’s signs agreements to develop 35 new restaurants in thirteen states

Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc., announced recently that it has signed development agreements with both new and existing franchisees to open a further 35 Arby’s restaurants across the USA. According to the information provided, the plans - concluded with five new and eight existing franchisees - aim to develop Arby’s restaurants in California, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

Tom Garrett, President and COO of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc., commented, “I am extremely excited about this latest round of signings. This continued momentum falls right in line with our long term expansion goals of reaching more Arby’s enthusiasts from coast to coast.”

Atlanta-based Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. is a subsidiary of Triarc Companies, Inc. It is the franchisor of the Arby’s restaurant system which currently has a network of around 3,700 restaurants across the world. Founded in 1964, Arby’s quick service restaurants sell slow roasted and freshly sliced roast beef sandwiches as well as deli-style sandwiches, toasted subs, wraps and salads. (kbp)
