Anago Cleaning Systems again named a top franchise for minorities
Anago Cleaning Systems has announced that it has been recognized by the National Minority Franchising Initiative for the second year in a row. According to the information provided, NMFI recognizes franchise organizations with exceptional minority participation. Over 450 franchise companies responded to the survey, and Anago was one of the top 50 selected. Franchises are ranked on percentage of minority-owned units as well as minority representation among senior management.
Anago’s Chairman David Povlitz commented, “Anago Cleaning Systems has always been and will continue to look toward the minority community. Minority-owned businesses are the future of American entrepreneurship. They have an exceptionally strong work ethic. Minority franchise owners are a major part of Anago’s success.”
Anago was founded in 1989 by David Povlitz, who operated a successful conventional janitorial company. After realizing the potential of the recession-resistant commercial cleaning industry combined with the franchise business model, Anago was born. The first master franchise opened in 1995 and today the company has over 30 master territories in the U.S. with over 2,100 unit franchisees. Anago provides the backing and support of an established company to give aspiring business owners the foundation to succeed in this thriving industry. (kbp)
