AmRest takes over franchise restaurants in Russia
The Polish company, AmRest, which is the local franchisee for Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King and – in the near future – Starbucks, is to take over a total of 41 restaurants in Russia.
According to a report on the Internet portal, cafefuture.net, these restaurants involve 22 Rostik-KFCs and 19 Pizza Huts. Information provided reveals that the purchase price lies at 48 million US dollars. AmRest is currently active in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria and runs a total of 204 restaurants.
