16 Handles appoints a new Vice President of Franchise Development

According to a report published on the website, restaurantnews.com, 16 Handles, a self-serve frozen yogurt company, has appointed Larry Feierstein as vice president of franchise development to support the company’s rapid growth and franchise business.

In an interview, Solomon Choi, 16 Handles’ founder, said, “Larry’s impressive 30-year career as an executive with some of today’s leading foodservice brands makes him eminently qualified to help us capitalize on the tremendous nationwide growth opportunities available at 16 Handles. He has a unique blend of operational, development, marketing and general management experience. Combine all of that with his passion for the foodservice industry, and we believe he will enable us to grow our franchise business, enhance our support for our franchisee partners, and drive profitable growth in new and existing markets.”
 
Founded in 2008, the franchise currently has 23 locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, and Florida. The report reveals that the company is expecting to have 43 stores open by the end of the year. (kbp)
