Description of franchise system
Our successful story began in 1987, when Kevin Lewis
entered the care industry, setting up a care home in Brighton and Hove.
Soon, Kevin was invited by Social Services in the UK to diversify his activities into the provision of home care, which rapidly achieved impressive growth.
A part of this development was to devise and implement appropriate operational systems, policies and procedures to ensure the quality of care services.
The outcome of this strategy saw the introduction of the very first Operations Manual for home care. This helped to ensure the delivery of quality care, appropriate monitoring and reporting systems, recruiting and policing, vetting and high training standards.
In the years from 1994 to 2001, Kevin set up a network of successful offices throughout the UK and became the market leader in the home care industry with over 130 successfully operating offices.
Four years later, Kevin Lewis launched Caremark, having devised a more appropriate operational approach to a changing market.
Caremark is now providing care in the home environment and within specialized residential settings to a diverse range of client groups.
The vision behind our care service has expanded from providing solely elderly care to delivering care to any person in need of their support, irrespective of age, disability or circumstance.
We provide all of our services with the highest focus on service-user desired outcomes.
At present, a vast amount of service users are supported by Caremark ISO Certified offices throughout Ireland and the UK - and we want to expand.
This is an opportunity to enter the exciting and expanding domiciliary care industry by starting a franchise business.
Caremark offers a management franchise that provides
you with the opportunity to build a successful and sustainable business, and to
develop your personal management and business skills.
The Caremark Ireland team includes a wide range of professionals with experience in social care, mental health, sheltered housing, care of older people and much more.
The knowledge and support provided by Caremark’s specialist and dedicated support team allows franchise owners to utilize their many skills, to include business development, marketing, IT, finance, training and of course, most important, care.
Significant investment has been made over the past number of years to ensure that Caremark remains at the forefront in terms of quality standards, recruitment and vetting of carers, development of industry leading processes and procedures as well as client satisfaction.
Our experience tells us that the business of caring is not one in which conventional marketing strategies will be effective in achieving immediate growth. Our experienced support team delivers quality advice and guidance which enables our franchisees to develop beneficial relationships that drive their businesses forward.
