Town & Country franchisees to profit from cooperation work

The Town & Country franchise network is currently cooperating with the McDonald's fast food chain whereby McDonald’s customers can take part in a competition to win a Town & Country house. The company has announced that it is expecting its franchisees to profit from this marketing cooperation agreement as it should make the Town & Country name more well known and so increase the number of customer contacts.

In the latest McDonald's competition, for example, it was possible to win, among other prizes, four Town & Country homes each worth 170,000 euros. As a result, Town & Country’s name was placed next to other brands such as Porsche and Visa and was also included in the McDonald's in-house television adverts.

Jürgen Dawo, founder and franchisor of Town & Country, believes that professional marketing support is one of the main advantages of a franchise partnership. “Experience has shown us that our franchisees profit from such advertising cooperation agreements as the public becomes more aware of the brand name,” Mr Dawo explained.

Despite the general slump on the house construction market, Town & Country has enjoyed a two-figure increase in sales each year since its foundation. The number of houses sold increased from 70 in 1997 to over 2,200 last year. According to Jürgen Dawo, the aim is now to become the no. 1 business in its field this year. In addition to this, he is also planning to establish the franchise system in the neighbouring European countries. The first master franchise partners have already been found in Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey.
