Thrifty Car and Van rental has announced that it is introducing 1000s of brand new ‘12’ plate vehicles. According to the information provided, the company will have added 6,708 new vehicles to its existing fleet by the end of this month (87% cars, 10% vans, 3% mini busses) ensuring customers have more choice than ever before.
Grant Capel, Fleet Director at Thrifty Car and Van Rental, commented, “Here at Thrifty we pride ourselves on offering our customers the best possible range of vehicles and regularly update our fleet to keep up with changing customer demand. This expansion to our fleet ensures that we can keep giving our customers access to state-of-the-art models and technology from a broad range of manufacturers. It also ensures they are getting low mileage, dependable, fit for purpose transportation.”
In 2005, the Scot Group acquired the UK master franchise for Thrifty Car & Van Rental in the UK. As owner of the Thrifty master franchise for the UK, the company has been able to develop faster than ever before and has, it says, grown to become one of the leading rental companies in the UK. Thrifty Car and Van Rental operates nationwide and currently has 85 branches within the UK. (kbp)
