This week: British & International Franchise Exhibition
People interested in learning more about franchising and becoming a franchisee should note the following event in their diaries: the British & International Franchise Exhibition is opening its doors to the public at Olympia London this week on 20 & 21 March. The event is being held in association with the British Franchise Association, the bfa, and is being sponsored by the HSBC.
Franchising is a business model that enables people to become their own boss, but with the support of an established business and brand. This franchise exhibition is, the organizers says, the only exhibition whose exhibitors are all British Franchise Association (bfa) approved franchises, so visitors can be sure that the franchise opportunities, franchise advice and business guidance people receive meet the bfa’s standard.
Besides being able to meet a large number of franchisors from many different business sectors, franchise lawyers, consultants and banking specialists will also be on hand to provide advice on setting up as a franchisee. A number of special zones are also to be set up to provide advice such as the “Find Your Franchise Zone” where visitors can get hold of a bespoke route plan around the exhibition to suit their requirements and interests.
The British & International Franchise Exhibition Olympia, London, is open to visitors on Friday 20 March 2009 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday 21 March 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (kbp)
