Thebestof launches a new brand
According to a report on the Internet portal, prweb.com, thebestof has launched a new brand image and put together a package of changes. These were made public by Nigel Botterill, CEO of thebestof, during the network’s annual franchisee day in July, who stressed how important it is to introduce innovations to keep ahead of the competition.
To create the new image, the report continues, the opinions of franchisees and customers were first looked at and analysed. Botterill explained: "Part of being a champion for your town is to provide people with a voice, a chance for local people to be heard and to say what they love about their town. So in response to this, we've launched a new review section on our sites that gives local people the opportunity to rate, recommend and comment local firms, shops and services.” The new logo depicts a speech bubble underlining the importance of the opinions of the visitors to the site.
thebestof is a franchise network of local websites which promote the businesses as well as restaurants, places to go and things to do in their areas. Since its foundation in July 2005, thebestof has become one of the UK’s most popular websites. The network currently consists of over 360 local sites which are each run by local people who live and work in their local area.
