thebestof’s business continues to grow

thebestof announced recently that business for its franchisees is continuing to go from strength to strength despite the downturn in the economy. thebestof franchisees run websites that promote local businesses and advertise locally recommended companies across the UK. According to the company, it has been carrying out intensive development work over the last few years and now provides its franchisees with the tools they need to offer 32 different products and services to their clients.

And the websites are proving to be very popular: over 60,000 businesses in the UK are paying to be a business member of their local thebestof franchise; in the last 12 months, over 100,000 local people have signed up to become members of their local thebestof, and, the company says over 1.5 million Internet users visit the website every month.

About 90% of the company’s franchise areas have already been sold so that over 340 franchise territories are already occupied. According to the company, though, there are still around 40 territories available in the UK and it is currently on the look-out for suitable franchisees to complete its network. (kbp)
