The search is on for the 2012 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year

The bfa (British Franchise Association) has announced that the 2012 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards, supported by Express Newspapers, are now open for entries. Applications are being accepted for a total of three awards - the bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award, the HSBC Franchisee Support Award and the Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award - and franchisors can enter one, two or all three categories.

According to the information provided, the awards, in their 23rd year, present an opportunity for winning businesses to be recognised as leaders not only in the franchising community but also amongst customers, suppliers and potential franchisees. An award also provides a motivational boost for franchisees in appreciation of their hard work.

Brian Smart, Director General, bfa, said, “Each year the Awards uncover the most remarkable success stories in franchising and the extraordinary people that drive these businesses, large and small, to greatness. The winners set high standards to inspire and motivate others across the UK to employ fresh and effective ways to achieve business success.”

The deadline for entries is 30 March 2012. National finalists will be invited for an interview with the judging panel on 15-16 May and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 21 June 2012. (kbp)
