The bfa begins its search for the 2008 Franchisor of the Year
The British Franchise Association (bfa) has announced that it has launched its 2008 Franchisor of the Year Awards which are being sponsored this year by the Express Newspapers and HSBC. The aim of these awards is both to recognize and reward the effort and achievement of franchise systems in the UK. As was the case last year, there will be Gold, Silver and Bronze award categories.
The theme attached to this year’s awards is ‘Now and then, five years on’. Franchisors entering their network will have to demonstrate how their network has developed and what impact they have had on the franchising sector and how this development has benefited their franchisees.
Two further awards which are to be presented at the same event are the ‘Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award’ and the ‘HSBC Award for Enterprise’. The winners are to be announced at a gala lunch which is being held at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London on 22nd May 2008.
According to the information provided, only bfa members may submit entry forms. These forms are available from the Members Only section of the bfa website, www.thebfa.org, and must be handed in by 7th March 2008 at the latest.
