Texas Chicken to be launched in the UK
According to a report published on the Internet portal, www.responsesource.com, the international restaurant chain, Texas Chicken, is to be launched in the United Kingdom. Texas Chicken is the name under which the Atlanta-based Church’s Chicken company runs its international restaurants. According to the information provided, the company is looking to have opened up 50 restaurants before the end of this year.
The UK is one of the largest markets for fast-food chicken meals and Texas Chicken believes there is great potential for its brand in the country. An office is to be set up in the country from which support will be given to the individual restaurants. Zack Kollias, from Church’s, commented, “We are committed to the expansion of Texas Chicken in the UK and beyond through our franchising model. The UK marketplace represents a great chicken market and we are excited by the opportunity to introduce high quality products and services in such a dynamic market.”
Founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1952, Texas Chicken has developed into a global chain of fried chicken fast-food restaurants with 1,600 locations in 18 countries around the world.
