Smart working together with the United Auto franchise business
The DaimlerChrysler brand, Smart, has signed an agreement with the United Auto Group based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to launch the Smart cars in the USA.
According to a report on the Internet portal autosieger.de, the agreement not only lays down the strategy for launching the product onto the market but also covers subjects such as distribution, marketing, after-sales, service and communication tasks.
The United Auto Group has a sales network of 296 franchise dealers which offer their customers a range of 40 different vehicle brands. In addition to this, there are also 27 garages carrying out repair work. UnitedAuto has 173 franchise partners in the USA and 123 further partners abroad, most of whom are in Great Britain.
