Saving time and money with BIGFISH
As the BIGFISH franchise system explains itself, millions of pounds are being thrown away each day as a result of people discarding their used printer cartridges. This, the company says, is not only a waste of money but harmful to the environment, too, as the cartridges then end up on a landfill somewhere across the country.
To combat this waste, BIGFISH has set up a network of specialists who remanufacture all leading brands of printer cartridges. This means that each cartridge is taken apart, cleaned and inspected and any faulty elements replaced. Consumers, therefore, only pay for the bits of the cartridge they use meaning savings, the company says, of up to 60 percent below normal prices. Other services provided by the company include its SAFETYNET programme, a contract maintenance service to extend printer life and help prevent breakdowns, and its FirstCall emergency call out service.
The company was founded in the United Kingdom in 1992 and became active as a franchisor one year later. It has a network of branches across the UK and is interested in meeting people from other countries with suitable experience and qualifications to enable it to launch its system abroad.
