Rugbytots franchise to do London to Paris bike ride to support the NSPCC
Following the success of their last bike ride in 2010, during which £50,000 was raised for the NSPCC, Rugbytots has announced that it is organizing another one, again from London to Paris, to take place in June 2012.
Two year's ago, the group was made up of Rugbytots coaches, parents, franchisees and friends of friends. Rugbytots is now inviting people to take part in this year's event, which is being run by a company called Expedition Wise, although those interested should apply early as the number of places are limited.
The Rugbytots franchise was founded in 2006 to fill a gap in the child development sector by using Rugby specific skills to aid in the development of young children. Its programme has, it says, been designed to develop children’s physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as gently encouraging rugby specific skills such as running with the ball, finding space, kicking, catching, scoring a try and much more. According to the information provided, it is the most established, fastest-growing and most innovative Rugby play programme for children aged two to seven. (kbp)
