Pro-Gesundheit: online sales of health care products

The Pro-Gesundheit range of franchise services is targeted at doctors’ surgeries, pharmacies, wellness hotels as well as fitness, beauty and foot-care studios. Physiotherapists, masseurs, diet consultants, non-medical practitioners and people from similar areas of work can also become a franchise partner.

The concept: an online shop is opened up on the franchisee’s homepage – either one which already exists or a new one – to sell the complete range of Pro-Gesundheit products. By doing so, the Pro-Gesundheit partners are able to extend their range of services to include high quality products without having to pay additional costs or take on warehousing space. In addition to this, the franchisees are provided with advertising material to acquire new customers. The money earned is a percentage of the orders received via their online shop.

The Pro-Gesundheit platform and franchise system is run by the Austrian Seminar-Shop GmbH, which is also active on the Internet through its other platforms: a “seminar shop", a "delicatessen shop", an “advertising shop" and its "affiliate partner programme".

The system can currently be found in Switzerland, Austria and Germany but it is looking to expand throughout the whole of Europe.
