P.L. Workforce: driving and industrial staffing solutions

Bristol-based P.L. Workforce, an established specialist supplier of quality personnel to the road transport and warehousing industry, launched a management franchise in July of this year. According to information provided by the company, it was established to assist entrepreneurs who are looking to capitalise on business opportunities in the driver and warehouse staff supply sector.

Adam Lane, Managing Director of P.L.Workforce commented on the development of P.L. Workforce’s business saying: “With 11 P.L. Workforce branches nationwide and an established reputation for quality service, we are accomplished at setting up new businesses in this sector and at expanding local market share. Our expertise will be used as a springboard for success for new franchisees. Our overall ‘offer’ is based on sound practical experience and a proven business model that will be replicated for franchisees.” Key elements of the support package available to P.L.Workforce franchisees include a comprehensive training programme, franchise location selection/advice and ongoing administration and business support.

Its first franchisee launched her business at the beginning of October: Susan Sperrin, a businesswoman from Bridgwater, is taking a pioneering role representing the P.L.Workforce brand. She has a background in the logistics and transport industry, and - with the backing of P.L.Workforce - has embarked on her first management business venture.
