New franchise system for organic fast food
The "Burger Man" fast-food chain is planning to set up its first flagship store in Klagenfurt (Austria) in the autumn of this year. What is special about this is that this chain, which is intending to grow through franchising, is looking to concentrate completely on organic products and so provide a healthy fast-food alternative to the other burger chains.
According to a report in the WirtschaftsBlatt newspaper, Burger Man was founded by the chef, Lothar Vogel who had lived in India as a monk for 20 years. Besides selling burgers, customers can also buy finger food, salads and potatoes. Both the burgers and the salads are prepared in accordance with the individual wishes of the customers. The concept also intends to use as little packaging as possible.
