Mark Thompson and Tim Greenhalgh join the Howarth Franchising Group
The Howarth Franchising Group has announced that it has extended its team of consultants by appointing Mark Thompson as Franchise Development Consultant in the South of England and Tim Greenhalgh to head up the Public Relations team.
According to the information provided, Mark Thompson offers a complete range of consultancy services to prospective and existing franchisors. He has over 22 years’ management experience both with large multinationals and his own businesses. Furthermore, he has a strong background in sales and marketing, start-ups and has considerable experience in franchising, as franchisor and franchisee. Previously, he was UK Managing Director of a division of a franchise network with several hundred franchisees across the UK, which also extended into nine countries.
Mark commented on his work, saying, “My practical experience of franchising means that I am able to help clients design and plan their franchise networks effectively and go on to offer guidance, as they continue their journey through franchising. I also assist existing franchisors to implement ‘good practice’ to help them and their franchisees reach their business goals.”
Tim Greenhalgh is a media professional with more than 25 years’ experience in journalism, business and PR. He has worked on national newspaper titles and magazines, as a writer and in editing/managing production. Tim understands franchising and journalism and knows what the media want and how to get messages to the right audience. As Tim states: “We, at Howarth Franchising, know the pressure franchisors face to recruit franchisees. Franchisors should be focusing on following up leads, organising meetings, launching new businesses and training franchisees. To help, we can manage the whole PR process: ideas, story generation, release, sell-in calls and media relationship-building; leaving franchisors to concentrate on their core businesses”.
The Howarth Franchising Group combines over 120 years’ experience of
developing and managing franchised networks. Consultants are, the company says,
strategically located around the UK to ensure that the right help for
prospective and practicing franchisors is never far away. The Howarth
Franchising Group comprises six specialist businesses serving the franchising
community: The Franchise Development Centre, The Franchise Training Centre, The
Franchise Support Centre, The Franchise Sales Centre, The Franchise Careers
Centre and The International Franchising Centre.
