Mango opens in the airport Gatwick of London

The international airports begin to be a priority for the Spanish feminine fashion brand, who already inaugurated a store in Terminal 4 of Madrid-Barajas

Mango, the Spanish feminine fashion brand, continues its expansion in travel retail opening its first store in the International Airport of Gatwick. The new point of sale, that is located in the North Terminal, opened its doors last Saturday 26 of August. “The place, with a size of 75 square meters, have been conceived like a shop window: its pane frontal lets see from the outside the collection exposed in the store “, indicates its spokesman.

The International Airport of Gatwick is the sixth airport of the world in circulation of passengers, 32 million only in 2005, number that a 4.2% in relation to the previous year increased. Isak Halfon, Director of the Department of Expansion, affirmed that Gatwick, next to Madrid Barajas, is a very positive beginning for the entrance of Mango in travel retail and the beginning of our expansion in the main European and International Airports”. Mango head office assures that it is the beginning of a project which its aim is to inaugurate more stores in the international airports where the passenger aerial traffic is outstanding, like those of Heathrow, Frankfurt, Schiphol, Fiumicino or JF Kennedy
