Kumon Educational at The Franchise Show 2012
Kumon Educational is one of the UK's leading supplementary education providers offering maths and English study programmes. According to information provided by the company, there are currently over 62,000 Kumon students learning at more than 620 study centres across the UK, with over 4.2 million students worldwide. Last year, Kumon UK celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The Kumon method of learning was developed in 1954 by Toru Kumon, both a parent and teacher from Japan. Kumon aims, it says, to provide children with long-term foundations in reading, writing and arithmetic. Kumon provides individualised study programmes in maths and English, designed to help children of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential.
The company has now announced that it shall be attending The Franchise Show 2012 which is taking place at the London ExCel this Friday and Saturday (24 & 25 February). Kumon Educational is, it says, looking for motivated individuals with a passion for developing children, to open maths and English study centres at numerous locations throughout the country. People interested, therefore, are invited to visit the company's stand (226) at the event to learn more about the system. (kbp)
