Kieser Training: master franchisees in Australia and New Zealand

Having expanded its system in Germany, Kieser Training shall soon be found on the world’s fifth continent, too. The company has announced that master franchise agreements were signed in August 2005 for both Australia and New Zealand. David Fritz, Business Development Director of Kieser Training AG, said that they were very pleased to have found Gary Harley for their project. They are hoping to open up at least 20 branches in Australia and New Zealand. The first business shall, in all probability, open its doors to the public in Melbourne at the beginning of 2007. Master franchisee, Gary Harley, is convinced that the Swiss training concept is a very good one, “Kieser Training stands out thanks to its radically different products. I am sure that the concept shall prove to be very popular in Australia." Negotiations are also being held for other countries. “There is a great demand for master franchise licences,”

Werner Kieser said who is both the founder and CEO of Kieser Training AG. Kieser Training AG has its head office in Zurich and specialises in therapeutic exercises to improve health and prevent illnesses. Since 1981, Werner Kieser has been expanding his business – especially through the use of franchising. Kieser Training currently has 145 franchise and subsidiary businesses with around 285,700 customers in six European countries.
