International business opportunities at the British & International Franchise Exhibition 2011
The organizers of this year’s British & International Franchise Exhibition, which is being held at Olympia, London, this Friday and Saturday (18 - 19 March 2011), have announced that there will be more international franchises to choose from than ever before.
According to the information provided, the UK’s leading international
franchise event will offer a vast range of franchises, five theatres featuring
free seminars, and help from experts on all aspects of franchised business
across the world. Furthermore, the show has a dedicated International Zone
enabling visitors to find out what franchise opportunities are available, how to
go about gaining funding and receive advice on the procedures to follow and
pitfalls to avoid.
Delegates from all over the world can use the International Networking Lounge to relax, network and gain information from the experts in this informal environment. The International Conference, supported by UK Trade & Investment, is a key part of the International Zone and addresses how to launch a franchise in the UK and how to take a UK-based business overseas. Sir Bernard Ingham, President of the British Franchise Association (bfa), will officially open the conference which takes place over the two days of the show and is highly interactive, consisting of experts, panel sessions and case studies.
The International Conference is, the organizers say, just part of an extensive conference and seminar programme which will also cover all the important franchise-related topics. They range from the popular bfa seminars such as An introduction to franchising, to sessions on Families in franchising, High-level investment franchising and Franchise resales, with several distinguished keynote speakers in both the franchise and Growing Your Own Business events.
The choice of franchises available at the exhibition is huge, making it easy for visitors to find the business that is the perfect for their interests, skills and budget. This year the exhibition will feature around 120 franchise concepts covering a wide range of industry sectors from management consultancy and recruitment to food and drink, health and fitness and automotive repairs.
Adrian Goodsell, Franchise Exhibitions Manager at Venture Marketing Group, organisers of The British & International Franchise Exhibition, says, “The British & International Franchise Exhibition will be more international than ever with many more new overseas exhibitors offering proven business concepts to the UK market. With all the other exhibitors and features, there is no better place for anyone to find a new career opportunity.”
The British & International Franchise Exhibition is open from 10am each day, closing at 5pm on Friday 18 March and 4pm on Saturday 19 March 2011. (kbp)
