Hunters franchise enjoys a strong start to the year

According to Hunters, an estate agent franchise, January is one of the busier months for estate agents with people considering a house-move after the Christmas break. This January has, it says, been stronger than ever.

According to the information provided, its franchise in Wetherby has seen record demand for their services: in the first three weeks of January 2012 alone it had already seen an increase of 25% in the number of completed valuations compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the number of home viewings had also increased by 58% compared to the same period in 2011.

Martin Robinson, operations director for Hunters, believes that one of the reasons for this is Hunters’ latest programme of expansion which has meant that its network now has approximately 180,000 active applicants registered through 140 branches at any one time making it one of the UK’s largest independent franchising estate agents.
