Heineken reaches 500 establishments
28 new places in Spain have allowed to the network of Heineken to come to this number of pubs adding its 7 concepts of business.
With the opening of Bergara's Paulaner Bierhaus (Guipúzcoa), Heineken Spain have reached 500 establishments in the whole country. Since 1993, when the first Guinness Official Irish Pub was opened, there have been created other six chains that with the time have increased the number of establishments up to the half thousand.
From March to June there have been inaugurated 28 new pubs distributed by the whole Spanish geography. The head office emphasizes the take-off of its last bet, the Guinness Houses, Irish modern pubs that are identified with the urban Ireland of the XXIst century. The first two pubs of the network are in Palma de Mallorca and Solares (Cantabria)
With regard to the rest of the establishments, the openings have been distributed between all the marks. The Guinness Official Irish Pub has inaugurated 15 new taverns: Deicy Reilly's in Ciudad Real, Chief O'Neills in San Fulgencio (Alicante), O'Conell's in Ibi (Alicante), St. James Irish Tavern in Alicante, Hogan's in Amorebieta (Vizcaya), Izaro Irish Pub in Bermeo (Vizcaya), New Ross in Huelva, The Wild Goose in La Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia), O'Conell's in Cadiz, Cheers Irish Sport Coffee in Guadalajara, Payne Irish Bar in Barcelona, The Temple Bar in Rincón de la Victoria (Málaga), Muglligan's Irish Tavern in Torremolimos (Málaga) and Gilligan's and The Red Corner in Madrid. With these inaugurations, the veteran chain of the Heineken Spanish pubs already has 222 places.
Gambrinus has opened in Poniente (Valladolid), Arrecife (Lanzarote), La Vital one in Gandía (Valencia), Miribillas and Barakaldo (Vizcaya), Madrid and Sevillea East. In whole, seven Spanish pubs more.
Also during the spring two establishments of the network Cruz Blanca have opened in Sabinillas-Manilva (Málaga) and Madrid, which add 56 units for this company. Besides, there have been a new opening of The Amstelería in Valencia.
