Harper & Fields selling suits with gold thread

The Harper & Fields franchisees now have a new product for those people who like something a little different. The company has announced that its product range now includes a cloth which is made using fine, microscopic, 18 karat gold thread which is woven into pure merino wool.

According to Harper & Fields, it is not possible to see the gold with the naked eye but the suit is likely to be picked up by a metal detector at an airport. The hand-made suits cost around 8,000 euros. This is not the network’s most expensive product, however: it also produces suits using materials which has had diamond dust woven into it, the so-called “diamond chip”.

Harper & Fields offers its customers tailor-made suits and shirts made according to traditional English methods as well as shoes from the Austrian manufacturer, Ludwig Reiter.
