Harper & Fields expands in Europe

Last year, the tailoring business, Harper & Fields, opened up its first branch in the Czech capital Prague. A few weeks ago, Matthias Kalks started up the first Harper & Fields business in Austria. According to the company, the products have also been well established on the British market.

Besides this, a Harper & Fields subsidiary has been active on the market in the UK since June this year which is solely responsible for the sales of the Harper & Fields UK franchise system. Together with T. Randall and D. Thursby, Jörg Messerschmidt, managing director of Harper & Fields in Germany, has established further sales points in the 'Travelling Tailor' scene. The first Harper & Fields partner is currently being trained and shall be active in Manchester from October 2006 onwards.

Harper & Fields provides its customers with traditional English made-to-measure shirts and suits as well as shoes from the Austrian manufacturer, Ludwig Reiter. The company has announced that the new autumn/winter collection will also be including custom-made coats made from top quality wool or cashmere from Loro Piana, Zegna and Holland & Sherry.
