Fressnapf: new managing director for international expansion
"Fressnapf", the franchise system selling pet food and accessories, has created a new position in its company in order to push forward its expansion abroad. In the future, this franchise business is aiming to launch its system on two new markets in Europe each year. To achieve this, the company has taken on Patrick Hansel who shall be responsible for the system’s expansion abroad and who shall be the new managing director for the international markets. 45-year-old Mr Hansel has a degree in economics and last worked as Director of National Operations at the catering specialist, Eurest.
According to Fressnapf, it shall be opening its first store in Ireland in
April this year. Plans are already being drawn up for Spain with the first shop
due to have been set up by the end of 2006. The Fressnapf Group is the largest
